Rock and roll

Friday March 7 2008

Aberdeen picturesIt’s been another mentalist week.

Two overnight work trips (Aberdeen and Dundee, also catching up with friends on both occasions); a couchsurfer; a prospect of spending Saturday working to catch up with myself; and loads more aside.

I am absolutely exhausted, and at just approaching 9pm on Friday night, I’m off to bed.

Rock and roll.

Shutter and Kyte

Monday March 3 2008

It’s a terrible admission, but I’ve yet to go to the Ironworks, Inverness’s best (and, let’s face it, only) large live music venue.

All that will change a week on Friday when I go to see Shutter, who I’ve blogged about before and who I really like.  It will be great to see them live.

They’re appearing along with another band called Kyte from England, who from their MySpace sound awesome – ethereal electro-pop that reminds me of a slightly less quirky Múm with a twist of Maps (indeed, currently on their MySpace is a remix by Maps).
